Rishvael is where finance professionals, graduates and companies meet. People here share their careers, apply for jobs and trust each other with their time and money, so we hold everyone to a professional standard. These guidelines apply to everything on Rishvael: profiles, posts, comments, messages, jobs and projects. They are part of our Terms of Service.
1. Be real
- Use your real name and a real photo of yourself. Companies use their real company name and logo.
- Don't create fake profiles, more than one account, or pretend to be another person or company.
- Be accurate about your qualifications, credentials and employers. Claiming an ACCA, CFA or CA qualification you don't hold is not allowed.
2. Be respectful
- Disagree with ideas, not people. No insults, bullying, threats or intimidation.
- No hate speech: don't attack anyone for their race, ethnicity, nationality, caste, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.
- No sexual content, and no unwanted romantic or sexual messages. Rishvael is a professional network.
- Don't share other people's private information, such as their phone number, address or documents, without their permission.
3. No scams or fraud
- Companies must never ask candidates for money: no application fees, training fees, deposits or "registration" payments to get a job.
- No fake job offers, phishing, requests for passwords or bank details, pyramid schemes or chain recruitment.
- No promises of guaranteed returns, and no requests to invest money through private messages.
4. No investment advice or market manipulation
- Discussing markets, analysis and ideas is welcome. Telling a specific person what to buy or sell, as personal advice, is not.
- No "pump and dump" campaigns, paid promotion of shares, tokens or funds, or sharing inside information.
- Rishvael does not give investment advice, and nothing on Rishvael should be taken as investment advice.
5. No spam
- Don't post the same thing again and again, send mass unsolicited messages, or use engagement bait ("comment YES to get the file").
- Links must go where they say they go. No misleading or harmful links.
6. Respect confidentiality and ownership
- Don't share confidential information from your employer or clients.
- Don't post copied exam papers, paid course material or textbooks, or other people's work as your own.
7. Keep it legal and safe
- No illegal content or activity, violence, terrorism, or the sale of weapons or drugs.
- Zero tolerance for any content that sexualises or exploits children. We remove it, close the account and report it to the authorities.
- Don't knowingly spread false information about people, companies or markets.
How to report something
If something breaks these guidelines, tell us. Reports are private: the person is never told who reported them.
- A post: tap the ⋯ on the post, then Report post.
- A comment: tap Report or block under the comment.
- A profile: open the profile, tap ⋯, then Report profile.
- A message: press and hold the message, then Report message.
- A job or project: open it and tap the flag at the top.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
How to block someone
Open their profile or your chat with them, tap ⋯, then Block. You can also block the author of any post or comment. A block works both ways: you won't see each other's posts, comments or profiles, and neither of you can message or connect with the other. They aren't told. You can unblock anyone in Settings → Blocked people.
What we do
Our team reviews every report, usually within two working days. Depending on what we find, we may:
- take no action, if the content follows these guidelines;
- remove the post, comment or message, hide the profile, or close the job;
- suspend or permanently remove the account, especially for scams, fake companies or repeated problems;
- report illegal content to the authorities where the law requires it or someone is at risk.
If you disagree with a decision
Email ceo@rishvael.com with the subject "Appeal", and tell us what happened. A person on our team will look at it again and reply.
Changes
As Rishvael grows, we will update these guidelines. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email.
